After being diagnosed with breast cancer which led to a mastectomy the unthinkable happened, less than a year later I was also diagnosed with Lymphodema in my right arm. Lymphodema was something I was very afraid of getting. When I met Heather I was very angry, had a terrible attitude, and was physically hypersensative. Heather always remained and still is professional, calm, caring, knowledgeable, and extremely patient. She said, “I was someone she could work with.” I thought that was incredible! Heather turned my frown into a smile and never gave up on me! More than four years later I would follow her wherever she goes. I cannot recommend Dr. Hutchinson enough for postpartum and pelvic floor health! She has taught me so many exercises to heal my diastasis recti (DR). She has also empowered me to understand what exercises and positions to avoid and how to modify my weight-lifting workouts to maintain my DR and pelvic floor progress. Her calm and kind demeanor is the cherry on top!
